Watch all Olympic Events LIVE – Plus Olympic Giveaway (ends 8/1/12)

Are you excited about the Olympics? They just a little more than a week away.

I couldn’t imagine being an Olympic athlete. Not only do you have the pressure of the entire world watching your ever move, but you also have to be away from family and friends for a while. Some Olympic hopefuls even have to be away from their furry (or in some cases feathery) friends too.

Check out this video that showcases some of this year’s Olympic participants talking about their pets. One young lady even has chickens as pets. I hear they do make great pets, oddly enough.

 

Did you know that for the first time ever you can watch all 32 sports and all 302 events steaming live on NBCOlympics.com. I think that is pretty amazing that all 302 competitions can be watched live as they happen. Obviously not at the same time. LOL!

Don’t forget to watch the opening ceremony on NBC on July 27, 2012. Check your local TV listing for airtime.

  14. (The main entry is the wrong one for this contest). I love the dressage and show jumping.

  15. The Gymnastics, specifically parallel bars always facinate me. I always wanted my girls to get into gymnastics, but they said it wasn’t for them. However, when my daughter Alli was in PopWarner cheer, I would always cry whenever I saw them do their routine. I think it’s absolutely amazing that such young people can pull something together and make it so fantastic!

  38. I like to watch the women’s basketball. I’m a UConn fan and there’s a heavy UConn presence on the team.

  46. I just love seeing the Olympics. It gives me a sense of pride to watch our athletes give it their all and the fans in our country rooting for them. I have never been to an event yet but would love to some day.

    My favorite sports to watch during summer are Trampoline, Swimming and Gymnastics. Oh, I forgot, Volleyball too. I love seeing our athletes and teams win. As you can tell, I love all the sports—-plus all the track and field events too. I have a feeling that I will probably need to see the live streaming on NBCOlympics.com too.

  50. Gymnastics. We have a local girl going!!!! I am soooo excited to see what my son who just turned 6 will be interested. We are going all out making our own torch and olympic rings. I don’t know why but the olympics just make me so darn emotional! LOL

  57. Swimming is our favorite sport but we watch all events and have such pride in our athletes!

  61. I like the typical swimming and gymnastics, but I also like the volleyball and the table tennis. I watch as much as I can.

  65. I like the track and field events. Perhaps because I’m a runner, I like to see others running and pushing themselves that way, too. Figure skating is my second favorite.

  81. Swimming but there are some many sports to watch like field hockey, badminton, archery.

  91. Watching the gymnastics was inspiring and heartbreaking. I love seeing the fierceness in the young ladies but there is an enormous amount of pressure placed on them. I wish them all the best.

  102. I love watching gymnastics. I think all girls have wanted to be a gymnast at some point in their lives.
