The Olympics are in full swing. I can still remember the 2010 Olympic Winter Games. It seems like only yesterday I was watching Apolo Ohno speed skating and Lindsey Vonn skiing.

I am a fan of any of the ice skating (women, men or couples). I think the skaters have an amazing talent. It’s hard to believe they can pull off some of those moves going at high speeds on ice. I’m lucky if I can even stand up on skates without falling.

The skiing competitions really get my heart pounding. I can’t ski. I tried but I kept falling down. I’ll leave skiing up to the pros.

When I see the skiers flying high in the air I am always on the edge of my seat. It’s both exciting and scary at the same time. Scary because they could easily get hurt.

Here are just a few of the incredible athletes who are representing Team U.S.A at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

It takes A LOT of hard work, dedication and sacrifice to make it to the Olympic Winter Games. The Olympians representing our country have worked tirelessly to make it to the Sochi Olympic Winter Games to represent our country. It’s time that we take some time to show them that we support their efforts and to cheer them on to victory.

Skeleton - Day 8

AT&T, a proud sponsor of the U.S. Olympic Team and the U.S. Paralympic Team, wants us to help celebrate the amazing and inspiring athletes with a special campaign called It’s Out Time (#ItsOurTime).

Athletes inspire us to “reach for the stars” and not give up on reaching our goals and aspiring to be the best. Now it’s our turn to inspire them to never give up and to do the best they can to bring home the gold.

AT&T’s #ItsOurTime campaign wants to encourage people like me and you to share our stores of inspiration through our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Vine…) using the hashtag #ItsOurTime.

In addition AT&T has a fun interactive application to also help support Team USA. The #ItsOurTime interactive app can be downloaded via iTunes or Google Play. The app allows you to record yourself shouting the iconic USA! chant (USA! USA! USA!). Make sure you really put your heart and soul into your chant because it can help drive our Team USA to victory. You can even get your friends, family and co-workers to join in. The more the merrier!

All USA chants will become a part of an interactive wall of support to create a nationwide chant which will be seen on TV and digitally. You can see all the submitted chants on the official campaign website, ATT.com/TeamUSA.

I did my own chat. It was easy. You simply need to line your body up with the outline on your cellphone (or other device) screen. Then you do a test chant to make sure you are loud enough. Once you are ready you record yourself chanting for just a few seconds. When you are satisfied you just need to input some information (name, email address…) and then submit your video.  You’ll receive an e-mail when the video is posted on the site.

The wonderful men and women from Team USA have worked long and hard to get to the Olympic Winter Games. Please let them know that you are proud of them and support them by uploading your USA chant video on the #ItsOurTime website as well as share your personal inspiring stories on your social networks using the #ItsOurTime hashtag.

  19. My favorite Winter Games sports are Skiing and Snowboarding. I especially enjoy watching the Freestyle Skiing, these athletes blow my mind with all their tricks.

  58. I love watching snowboarding, but the luge and bobsled have caught my attention this year too!
