Do you have a lot of home movies? Do you have home movies on VHS tapes, DVDs or even film that you can’t enjoy because you don’t own a device to allow you to watch them (such as a DVD and/or VHS player)? I’m sure there are plenty of home movies in most homes that have not seen the light of day in many years, even decades.
My family has a lot of home movies. My husband even took videos of his family long before we were even married (we’ve been married almost 29 years). Needless to say what we do have is old.
There have been plenty of times that our kids have asked about a certain event or video that they remember, and wanting to see it. Sadly we didn’t own a VHS or DVD player in order to view it.
The birth of both of our kids… school plays… graduation… family members who are no longer with us… pets that have crossed the “Rainbow Bridge”… we have so many incredible memories trapped on archaic devices that are no longer accessible. That is until we learned about iMemories.
I have reviewed so many products over the past 17 years, but I must say, iMemories is the most special to me. Why? Because it’s allowed my family and I to see videos our us log forgotten or that we haven’t viewed in decades.

I was sent a box to put all our videos in. We sent them regular DVDs and mini ones. We have more, but we couldn’t track them down. As for photos, we have them on hard drives and in photo albums. One day we’d love to have them uploaded to the iMemories platform so we can share with loved ones.
IMemories we super quick to upload our videos. They were uploaded a few each day over the course of about a week.
We’re still waiting on our originals to be returned. We’ll just pack them away for safe keeping, even though I doubt we’ll never need them now that our memories are available to us through iMemories.

I cannot tell you just how much our hearts smiled seeing memories we haven’t seen in decades. I even cried when I watched a lot of them. To see our daughter, whose going to be 28, as a newborn in the hospital, and our son playing soccer as a young child, made me so incredibly happy. My heart was filled with so much joy.
To make it even better, we gave access to both of our children, and they have been loving seeing themselves as babies and children. My husband and I both wish there were videos of us a babies and children, but we were born in a day when not many people had the means to make home movies. In fact, I barely have any photos of me as a baby and child. That’s just so sad.
I was able to find the video of my nephew’s first birthday with both of my parents in it. I sent that link to my sister. She messaged me back to say she cried too.
It melts your heart to see memories buried for so long right there in front of you.
I love that we can watch the movies anytime, anywhere, from our television, computer and the app. My husband and I have been watching them often. We pick a few and sit and watch as we reminisce about what we are viewing on screen.
You can even organize the videos/photos into albums. For example, I can make an album of the baby years for each of my kids, that way it makes it easier for them/us to find something in particular.
Right now we haven’t sorted them into albums. We’re going through them one by one first and foremost. Then we’ll come up with a logical way to sort them into albums.
This service is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. I am also very grateful for the opportunity to re-live memories from years and decades ago. It’s been wonderful.
Who needs to watch repeats on television when I can watch my family through the years. That’s a no brainer.
If you are interested in learning more about this fabulous service, visit the brand online at iMemories.com.
IMemories is also a great gift idea for newlyweds and new parents, as well as anyone who cherishes memories and would love to relive them 24/7 whenever they want.
