Zombies are all the rage these days. So many people have jumped on the Zombie “bandwagon” including moms, businessmen and even grandma! Some children are even into zombies too.
I have always been a fan of zombies. Ever since I was a young girl and saw the film Dawn of the Dead (the original, not the remake) I have always found zombies to be fascinating. Just the mere thought of people coming back to life and eating anyone it can find is SO CREEPY!
Here is an interesting little tid bit about me. I was part of the “Dawn of the Dead Girls” back in high school. My friends had friend who had a heavy metal band in high school (they were really good too). One night all of my friends were sleeping over and on a dare we called one of our friends who was in the band and asked if they wanted to come over to watch a movie. To our surprise (and shock!) they agreed. Before we knew it three cars full of guys in spandex pants, ripped tees and BIG hair (think 80’s “hair band” kind of hair) came down my driveway. It was about 8 o’clock at night too – on a weekday (we had a break from school). Needless to say my mom and dad were not happy with the situation.
We ended up watching Dawn of the Dead and noshing on chips, hot dogs and other kind of junk food. The boys were very well behaved. The lead singer even sat in the kitchen for a bit and had tea with my VERY proper English mother (she’s from the UK). Tea was good for his throat and it was sore from singing during practice earlier.
From that night on my friends and I were dubbed the “Dawn of the Dead Girls”. They even introduced us at concerts as such (we were sort of like their groupies). To this day, nearly 30 years later, I’m still friends with three of the band members and they still refer to me as a “Dawn of the Dead girl”. 🙂
I get a kick out of how much zombie stuff is available. From zombie mugs to zombie plus toys, and from zombie bobble heads to zombie pet toys… it’s crazy! It’s funny to walk into a regular department store, or even a little “mom and pop” type store and find zombie goodies.
I have to admit that I have some zombie things. I have a couple of the Walking Dead bobble heads (Rick & Daryl). And I’d really LOVE to get some zombie Halloween decorations from Spirit. I am totally in love with the Berzerker Zombie and Female Zombie.
They would make a PERFECT decoration for our balcony. It would creep out our entire condo complex (our neighbors expect fun things like this from us).
How would you like to proclaim your love of zombies on a shirt? RedBubble.com has probably the largest collection of zombie tee shirts that I have ever seen. They have pages upon pages of cool designs to choose from. I’ve checked them all out and have a wish list a mile long of shirts I would love to get.
I just HAD to get the zombie tee shirt from RedBubble.com that looks like the Dunkin Donuts logo. I love DD!!! I am there pretty much every day. Sometimes even twice a day.
When I saw this shirt I knew I had to have it. It’s called The Dead Walk for Brains.
I have worn this shirt A LOT and it’s easily recognized because of the Dunkin Donuts logo/colors. People assume it’s for DD until they get a little closer and notice that difference. I have seen plenty of people smile and giggle as they read my shirt. Several people have stopped me and asked me where I got it from. My kids even get embarrassed when I wear it because they know people are going to stop me and chat about it (some how that freaks my teens out – I think THEY are the weird ones, not me).
The people in our local Dunkin Donuts shops (we have three of them locally that I go to) LOVE the shirt. They REALLY love it. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of them have since picked up the shirt from RedBubble.com because they always rave about it when I have it on. I feel obligated to stop by DD whenever I am wearing it. 🙂
I have another zombie shirts from RedBubble.com. It’s called Zombies and it’s by GPM Photography.
I’m sorry that my photo is not as good. It’s hard to hang up the shirt and snap a good photo without a few wrinkles and creases. I’d take a picture of myself wearing the shirts but I don’t “do” pictures (I run and hide when I see cameras).
This shirt also gets a lot of interest when I am wearing it out and about. The huge orange “WARNING!” grabs people’s attention. I get a lot of laughs and chuckles from passersby’s.
Both shirts wash well. There is no “pilling” or fading. The images are still fully intact after washing and wearing each one several times.
RedBubble.com must have HUNDREDS of zombie related designs – from super gross to super funny. If zombies are not your “thing”, don’t worry. RedBubbe.com has thousands of other designs from cute to retro and from geek to vintage and everything else in between.
The reason why RedBubble.com has so many different designs is because they come from thousands of designers from around the world. Each brings their own unique style to not only tee shirt designs but also other products (including actual artwork you can display in your home).

Recently there has been a fascination with zombies. Both my grandsons want to be Zombies for Halloween. They would love the shirts.
Never got into the whole zombie thing, although it’s a fun theme for Halloween. I’m not a vampire lover either, so I guess that fits. Again, very appropriate for the upcoming holiday. I do like today’s “International Talk Like a Pirate Day” Nothing zombie about that, but more my style!! Pirates, zombies, oh my…
Zombies are so disgusting.
zombie tees are perfect for this season
I don’t know what it is about Zombies but both my kids get a kick out of them. These shirts would make a great Christmas gift.
