Here is a little known secret. A friend of mine nicknamed me “My Previous Butterfly” many years ago when I attended my first PR event out in California (I’m in New York). I hadn’t traveled by plane since 1990 prior to that, and back then my parents took care of everything and I had an adult to put me on the plane and meet me when I got off the plane (pre-TSA stuff). I had never flown by myself otherwise and I was VERY nervous. My friend (a Disney publicist) said I reminded him of a “previous little butterfly,” one that he wanted to put in a jar and protect. I thought that was very sweet.

Fast forward almost 15 years and he still refers to me as that (he abbreviates it as MPB).

I have always loved butterflies. My favorite are the Monarch butterflies. Not only are they beautiful, but I don’t see them as often as I used to, so when I do see one I consider it a blessing.

Did you know that the Monarch butterflies will travel upwards of 3,000 miles to reach their winter ground in Mexico. Those little wings can fly that far. That is truly amazing.

One of my “bucket list” things is to see where the Monarch butterflies winter each year. I bet that is a spectacular site to see millions of butterflies fluttering around.

Sadly, the Monarch butterflies are in danger of being extinct due to pesticides, climate change and habitat loss. I cannot imagine a world without Monarch butterflies. That would be tragic if we lost those magnificent creatures.

I love this cleanser. It’s very gentle on my skin and does an excellent job of removing make-up.

My skin does not feel tight after I rinse it off too. Sometimes cleansers make my skin feel tight and I have to quickly apply a moisturizer or toner in order to relieve that feeling. That was not the case with this cleanser. It’s feels like it has a “built in” moisturizer to some extent.

I’m not a fan of wearing make-up for too long. The moment I walk in the door I head straight to the bathroom to wash my face. Because this product has eucalyptus, spearmint and peppermint in it, it leaves your skin not only clean, but also revitalized and “awake” (for lack of a better description). You would think with these ingredients it might stink or tingle, but that is not the case at all (at least with my experience). It just feel really refreshed.
