I love jewelry, so I was thrilled to receive some pieces from Nina Designs to check out for myself. The brand sent me a ring and a necklace to review.

I received to review a Sterling Silver Sword Necklace with Bronze Handle. It came with an 18″ chain.

I love this necklace. I think the sword is really cool. Initially I wasn’t sure if this was more so for a man, but as a woman I really like this design and fully plan on wearing it.

Swords are one of the earliest weapons found in cultures the world over, and as such are saturated with cherished meaning and symbolism. Swords can connote power, protection, chivalry, truth, enlightenment, action, and justice. In Christian thought it primarily represents righteousness, while in Congo tribes of Central Africa swords are symbols of transition, especially between life and death. In the symbolic language of tarot, swords represent the realm of the mind, specifically the navigation of thought.

I showed it to my adult son. He thinks it’s really nice too. He said if I didn’t want it, he’d take it. However, the photos I have for the necklace show them on a female. So I guess it can be worn by either gender.

I’m sorry that my photo doesn’t do this necklace justice. That is why I included the professional photo so you can just how pretty and unique this design is.

I should have taken a photo of the full chain too. It’s a nice chain. Thankfully it’s not a thin chain. I appreciate chains that are more sturdy.

I also received to review the brand’s Sterling Silver Adjustable Dogwood Flower and Leaf Ring.

I love that this ring is adjustable. I have chubby fingers, and it’s not always easy to find rings in larger sizes.

It comes in a size 7. Once you adjust it to the size you want you shouldn’t keep adjusting it because excessive adjusting could weaken it and cause it to snap.

This is a nice size piece. It really stands out.

I’m sorry that I didn’t share a photo of it on my finger. I have chubby, wrinkly fingers that I am very subconscious about. I didn’t want to share a photo of them here.

I love that this is a unique design. My co-workers thought this was a beautiful ring, as well as one of the monitors at school. Even my “work kids” seemed in awe of it.

This brand has so many beautiful designs. I need to share a few more photos just so you can get a good sense of the variety of designs. There is something for everyone.
